This article is an eye opener. The author has done much research and analysis.
When Teach For America first came on the scene, so many of us thought it was a viable solution to underserved school populations and a variety of school ills in the USA. This author lays out for us a thorough analysis with differnt outcomes than we had originally thought or hoped.
My conclusion after reading this is that the kind of change the world prototype they offer perpetuates inequality–and equality and equity is at the core of what makes an SOS school.
